Basic Details about HIT:

      The foundation behind the growth of HIT Kolkata is the Kalyan Bharti trust. The trust supplemented the state government efforts in setting up new engineering colleges by establishing the HIT in September 2000.

      According to NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework), HIT (Heritage Institute Of Technology) Kolkata rank at 150 positions on the national level.
